Hey everyone, hope you all are doing great there. I have come up with another review today, this time; it is a Mascara from ‘Benefit’. I have written about foundations, bb/cc creams, skin care products, but this is what I have been missing to write about for some time. I have bought ‘Benefit They’re Real Mascara’ from girls.pk in Rs. 2500. Although I have used a few mascaras before but after reading about it on Paulas Choice and Sephora, I was all pumped up to go for it.

Packaging

Benefit They're Real Mascara comes in small packaging in black color with a small silver colored mascara bottle in it. I ordered the Jet Black shade, but you can also pick beyond brown and beyond blue shades. It’s compact in size with an elegantly designed bottle with the product’s name in black and orange color. Benefit claims that their product lengthens, curls, lifts and volumizes eyelashes without getting dry or being smudged. According to their website they’ve observed these findings from a consumer survey:
•    94% of the folks found dramatic length and volume in their lashes.
•    94% of the folks found visible lift in their lashes.
•    100%found it longer lasting without creating any mess.

Review

‘Well all the mascaras are the same with different packaging’ is what a lot of us perceive but frankly speaking, there is a difference between a good and average product. I have never been a fan of falsies as they never look good on me; they look artificial unless you go for a heavy makeup look. They’re Real Mascara comes with an exquisitely designed brush that is a bit larger than most of the mascaras in the market and the bristles makes it one of the best one if you are looking for the perfect definition of your lashes without any clutter.



It is a bit on the shiny side, and the bristles work really well to maximize the volume and length of lashes. It is really light and easily buildable just the way you want it. I don’t wear falsies and even without it, this mascara looks absolutely beautiful on me.



The significant difference between They’re Real Mascara, and the others is the high precision large brush that grabs and stylize your lashes perfectly without creating any mess at all.



The mascara is lightweight and absolutely flake-free, it does not get smudgy, and it lasts longer than most of the other mascaras. The only downside is it does not quite hold the curls perfectly. I have tried two coats of it, but the curls are not up to the mark. Other than that, it is an excellent product to add in your vanity box.

• A well-engineered brush that redefines the lashes without clogging.
• It stays longer than most of the mascaras in the market.
• Volumizes and lengthen lashes perfectly
• It is not flaky at all.

Cons

• The curls do not hold perfectly like the way it’s claimed.
• Not a budget friendly product.

Recommendation

Benefit They're Real Mascara is a very nice product, and it works perfectly in volumizing and increasing the length of lashes, but it does not quite work well in holding the curls. This product can be an ideal addition to your vanity box; I rate this product 7 out of 10.
