So, I decided to try my very own Listerine foot soak recipes and voila they worked perfectly not just for me but nearly every person in my circle having problems like athlete's foot, dead skin, calluses. Homemade Listerine Foot Soaks
Well I am not sticking with the regular recipe that has been published on various websites already. I am going to list different recipes for the foot bath that can be easily tried and tested at home.
1- Listerine Vinegar Foot Soak
This is the traditional recipe for Listerine vinegar foot soak; I have made a few tweaks in it to increase its effects a little bit.

Ingredients
- Three Tablespoon of Honey
- One and a half cup of Listerine
- Half cup of vinegar
- A jug filled with warm water
- A container or bucket wide enough to place your feet
Listerine Vinegar Foot Soak Recipe
- Pour all the warm water from jug into the container and add three tablespoon of honey and stir it for a few minutes.
- Now add half cup of vinegar and one and a half cup of Listerine into the water.
- Mix the solution thoroughly and place the feet in to for at least ten minutes.
- The warm water will help relax the blood vessels in the feet and the solution will soften the dead thick skin on your feet.
2- Listerine Epsom Salt Foot Soak
Listerine and Epsom salt foot soak can ease down the tensed blood arteries in the feet. The amount of stress which our feet sustain in daily routine causes foot ache and numerous other problems. The blood flow in arteries lowers down and combined with the lack of moisture ends up cracking the skin on the feet; this cracked skin is also referred as dead skin below the feet.

Ingredients
- Half cup of Epsom Salt
- One and a half cup of Listerine
- Few drops of lemon
- A jug filled with warm water
- A container wide enough to place feet

- Fill the container with warm water and add a few drops of lemon juice and half cup of Epsom Salt.
- Add one and a half cup of Listerine into the water whilst stirring it slowly.
- Put your feet in the container for at least fifteen minutes and enjoy the warmth of solution.
- You can add a few cups of warm water if you are planning to soak them longer.
3- Listerine & Shaving Cream Foot Soak
Listerine and the shaving cream can work in conjunction to heal the dead skin from feet. Listerine is antiseptic so it kills the germs while the shaving cream contains chemicals that reduce the stiffness from skin and also enhances the production of Keratin. Keratin is one of the essential structural proteins that comprise the outer layer of skin and protects it from stress and cellular damage. With Listerine and shaving cream combo you can eliminate the dead cells from the feet and enhance the overall texture and softness of skin.

Ingredients
- Shaving foam or cream
- One cup of Listerine
- A container wide enough to place feet
- Warm water
- A filer or foot scrubber

- Wash your feet with soap or a good face wash.
- Apply the shaving cream on your feet and massage it gently for five to ten minutes.
- Fill the container with warm water and add one cup of Listerine in it.

- Use the foot file or scrubber to remove the shaving cream along with the dead skin from feet and wash it off with normal water.
- Slowly massage the skin with a good skin lotion or Vaseline.
