How to Get Rid of Dark & White Sunspots

Sunspots (also known as solar keratoses) can appear at any age. These spots or patches are usually dry and rough with dark or reddish coloration and sometimes white too. Overexposure to sunlight can result in these spots, today I am going to share some home remedies to get rid of dark and white sunspots from face and skin.

Causes of Sunspots on face and skin

The UV Rays from the sun increases the melanin production in our skin due to the continuous exposure to sunlight. The increase in melanin level results in the formation of dark spots or white patches on the skin. These sunspots can appear anywhere on your exposed skin from shoulders to your face. These spots are not itchy or painful in nature, but they most certainly can deteriorate your persona. There are numerous skin care products available on the market to avoid or treat these sunspots but if the situation gets worse than it is better to consult your dermatologist.

Aloe Vera gel has amazing skin healing and regenerating properties, and it can treat the dark sunspots in a few days. Massage the dark spots with Aloe Vera gel for 5 minutes and let the skin absorb it gently. Leave the gel for half an hour on your skin and wash it off with cold water. You can do it twice a day for three weeks. You can also make yogurt and Aloe Vera gel mask by blending both the ingredients gently with a teaspoon. Apply this mask before sleeping, leave it for the whole night and wash it off with tap water in the morning.
